ted technologie entwicklungen & dienstleistungen GmbH is an engineering office for technical acoustics, immission control and vibration technology based in Bremerhaven. The company was founded in 1998 as a spin-off from the Technology Transfer Center at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences and is active throughout Germany in the fields of noise, vibration and special measurement solutions.

ted GmbH is a notified measuring body according to § 29b BImSchG and accredited as a testing laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. The accreditation covers the immission control module for the determination of noise in the neighborhood and at the workplace.

A particular focus of ted GmbH is on long-term measurements, complex noise situations as well as vibration and oscillation measurements. By using modern measurement technology, automated evaluation methods and in-house technical developments, even difficult immission situations can be reliably evaluated. Measurement campaigns lasting several weeks and statistical analysis methods are used in particular for industrial plants, port operations, wind turbines, traffic routes and large-scale commercial sites.

In addition to traditional noise forecasts and measurements, ted GmbH also develops its own technical systems and measurement solutions. These include noise monitoring systems, noise register solutions and special measuring chains for long-term and continuous monitoring. With the “Lärmblitzer”, innovative approaches for the automated detection and documentation of noise events have also been developed.

ted GmbH supports projects from the initial noise assessment and approval processes through to verification, control and acceptance measurements during operation. Practical solutions, high measurement quality and comprehensible and reliable assessments are the focus of our work.
