SBKS GmbH

SBKS GmbH is an internationally active testing laboratory specializing in reinforced and unreinforced polymers. Our core competencies lie in the performance of mechanical-technological, analytical, chemical, physical-chemical and thermal analyses.

Through the targeted use of classical mechanical analyses, instrumental chemical analysis and thermal analysis methods, we are able to create a holistic picture of complex composite materials. The combination of these methods allows a comprehensive characterization of the overall “composite material” system.

SBKS has been recognized as a certification and monitoring body in accordance with state building regulations since 2009. This enables us to offer holders of a general building inspectorate approval from the DIBt both the necessary external monitoring and approval tests in the field of sewer rehabilitation.

In addition to its testing activities, SBKS is actively involved in various working groups and standardization committees at national and international level. As a member of the DIN, CEN and ISO committees, we are directly involved in the development of new standards.

Our range of services is supplemented by teaching activities at the Hanover Technical Academy (TAH) and at the Güteschutz Kanalbau.
