Ruhr Lab GmbH is an accredited testing laboratory in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 based in Gelsenkirchen. Ruhr Lab is also recognised as a testing laboratory by DIN CERTCO, DEPI, EBC/CSI and for globalCoal. The laboratory specialises in the analysis of fuels such as hard coal, lignite and wood as well as in the analysis of industrial materials such as dust, slag and ash.
Ruhr Lab GmbH offers a wide range of different physical, physical-chemical and chemical test methods.
In addition to classic contract analysis, they offer special analyses with regard to the billing of fuels / fuel costs, the testing of usability / product requirements, the detection of unknown solids, product safety / consumer protection and arbitration proceedings.
The laboratory is also active in strategic transhipment harbours in Europe, where it offers services such as determining the weight of ship cargoes and manual sampling.
